Finding Confidence in Chaos
We discover that Jesus isn't just another spiritual force or angelic being—He is the radiance of God's glory, the exact imprint of His nature, the King set over all things. When God declares, 'You are my Son, today I have begotten you,' He speaks words never uttered to any angel. This isn't merely theological information; it's an invitation to live differently. In the midst of financial stress, health crises, relational turmoil, or political uncertainty, we're called to embody three characteristics: confidence, calmness, and compassion. We can be confident because our King cannot lose. We can be calm when everything shakes because we're tethered to the One who upholds the universe by His word. And we can be compassionate toward a raging world, pleading with others to find refuge in Him before His righteous judgment comes. The question isn't whether storms will come—they will. The question is whether we'll find our refuge in the One who commands storms to be still.
