The Gospel of First Importance

At the heart of 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 lies a powerful reminder that the gospel isn't just a one-time message we heard and moved past—it's the living foundation we stand on every single day. This passage breaks down the gospel into its most essential components: Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again on the third day, all according to the Scriptures. What makes this so profound is the threefold nature of our relationship with this truth. We received it in our past—that moment when we first believed. We stand in it today—it's the firm ground beneath our feet right now. And we are being saved by it—it's actively working in us as we become what God has already declared us to be: righteous, holy, and blameless.
